Most serious TA people view "technical analysis" (e.g. OBV) of low priced stocks, particularly with inconsistent volume, as being unreliable.

IMHO the only TA possible with stocks such as IATV is to look at a long term chart (e.g.,180 week) and look for a trend.

So, an obvious statement might be something like this: on a weekly basis, it appears to be in an up trend from its historic bottom toward the end of the third quarter 1997. There has been more volatility in the last three months as compared to the previous year (June 1997 to June 1998).

The last three trading weeks (five days each) show an uptrend in stair steps or tight flags. With higher priced and greater volume stocks this is usually seen as bullish, particularly when the news and fundamental prospects reflect the same.
