If, indeed, AOL does acquire Netscape, that is not at all good news for YHOO, XCIT, et al, no?

Is the DB acquisition of BT still on as well?

actually, i just saw the rumor up on bloomberg. actually, thats one of the few good deals i have seen proposed recently, mostly because AOL has terrible browsing SW and they really need NSCP.

as for the valuation...a bit extreme. 4 billion...

also on the rumor front...or maybe a little less rumor and more reality...deutsche bank and bankers trust...looks like a union of cripples to me.

oh yeah...X...the fish oil internet company...ZAP. i am taking a position in it right now. the business isnt glamorous, but it is profitable. as for the internet stuff...they say they arent going ahead with it. that makes me very happy as managements plans were very stupid.
