My wife was 6cats but we only had one moniker on SI. I started as Bill Lartz, a reprehensible sob, my wife got on so we went to 6cats and I would sign on when it was me. She got a job as a programmer and quit posting so I went to Ish.

Actually grape pie is an Italian thing, a war bride from Italy used to make them for us. She was a war bride 40 years before making us a pie. They are good but haven't had one in the last few years, the bees are having problems so the grape crop is phowey. Haven't seen a honey bee in two years, used to have them by the hundreds.

Central Illinois was the end of the last glacier and we have some caves. Years back they used to store beer in the caves to keep it cool. You will be having the same as Icehouse beer.

Bill

Helenator update -

She's walking now. The last two weeks she would take one or two halting steps without support - but Saturday it was five-six step combinations. And yesterday she walked from the front door to the kitchen (about ten feet) without once dropping into a crouch.

Oh. And when she gets all excited she loves to whack the **** out of my nose.
