Clik! is at best a short term threat to solid state memory. The only real advantage it has right now is cost. Iff Iomega can get the Clik! on retail shelves before Christmas, do I think they can make that 3-point shot. Solid state memory will still be needed as a cache even with most Clik! built-in drives. The future of course is solid state memory with no moving parts and low power consumption.
