Funding the company from startup is about as close as you can get to a company. The CEO of CMG recently said in an interview that they were taking profits in Amazon and would invest that into other opportunities with greater rewards. Maybe you think they are being charitable and just decided to let the Internet speculators make some certain profits? Or maybe they see that the mania is unlikely to continue forever and the risk/reward on this stock is played out. Venture companies are IN THE BUSINESS of TAKING CALCULATED RISK but they aren't stupid.
