With regards to the estimated revenues or net income spoken by BII's CEO in the recent CBC interview, I think there is a very important thought to bear with respect to his comments of profitability. The licensing agreements are the biggest part of that equation. The computer programs are written. The money poured into the development of the engine is spent and the licensing agreements are where the money can be recouped fast. We'll see the amount of money this recent deal was worth and how much further agreements can be worth. Anyone agree or disagree? I liken it to Company A(BII)who owns and operates a grocery store and they went out and created their own shipping system thereby buying all their own trucks and the people to run the trucks. Not only are they selling stuff out of their store but now Company B wants to use their business model and is giving Company A $$$$ to use their trucks and staff. Company A continues to sell it's own product and is being paid to transport other people's goods too. The best part of the plan is they carry no overhead on the stuff they license out. A retailer's dream is eliminate overhead costs. I hope my point comes across.....comments anyone?
