Dear andrew.. 'Just having fun' is a dead end metaphor.. left it that way so you could play with the "meaning." What Gerry is "just having fun" doing I've no idea.. as with his "needs." So then, you'll soon be a counselor! Great! Fixing in dollars per hour what's been broken for years; going 'round and 'round like a broken record skipping over and over again the same old scratches of angst and pain. Give 'em the tools to smooth things out; care of themselves in body and mind. Reframe their "situation." Help 'em keep out of trouble like me. I never get in trouble. On occasion I'm PUT in trouble by some unimaginative asshole who wouldn't know the difference between Nietzsche and Nazarene. But hey! Ok. Blaw Blaw Blaw. I'll shut up... don't forget that "contempt for the therapist" thing, Marty
