Wow....a lot of excited people around here. Makes me nervous! I think bidcom is a great upcoming company. Just beware the froth. It can be compelling. It can be consuming. And it can also be dangerous in that it can cloud better judgement, for investors and traders alike. Know why you're buying, why you're selling and keep to the plan. Get excited, but stay cool.

I have mentioned more than a few times that AOL was smart for buying ICQ, who now have more than 21 million subscribers. Last year at this time they had only about a million. This will benefit BII when AOL redirects traffic their way from the competition, thus exposing BII to even more of their (AOL's) network. Read what this smart company is about to do:

>>Less understood, but playing an increasingly important role in America Online's strategy is ICQ, the Internet chat system that it acquired earlier this year and which has attracted more than 21 million sign-ups.

AOL has so far kept its distance from ICQ, hoping to preserve the free-wheeling atmosphere of ICQ's youthful and Web-savvy audience. But officials have big plans to use ICQ to whittle away viewers from Internet rivals like Yahoo Inc. and Microsoft's HotMail free electronic mail service.<<

>>Invoking the early days of radio and television, AOL is betting it can establish a full-scale Internet media network appealing to every category of consumer, selling electronic goods and advertising to a vast and growing audience.<<

NEW YORK, Nov 22 (Reuters) - America Online Inc. and Netscape Communications Corp., which sources on Sunday said were in merger talks, helped bring the Internet out of cyberspace and into the living room.
