WOW! Thanks Chip! I hope you have some kind of voice-to-text deal to help with that list. I am glad to see that there are a lot of games coming with Glide support, though I am curious to know how many are Glide only.

As for high resolutions, I agree that will be a factor in the future, but my little 17 incher (monitor) can barely display 1280 res. And to be honest, there are other things that I would prefer as a gamer...resolution is certainly great, but I have to think the gain from 1024 to 1280 will be minimal. Would rather see more complex polygon structures and texturing and lighting effects, etc.

And, I hate to keep talking about the TNT, but hey, that's where it's at according to the rest of the world...utilizing the stencil buffer to generate real time shadowing...that's extremely cool. ONly on the TNT though. Not cool. And Creative (our stockholder!) is using their resources to make it happen! Ugh...

Perhaps an apology is due to the board...I have been a little rough on TDFX lately, but I feel pretty justified. I have been with TDFX for a long time, and in the stock since the IPO (though I have been in and out on several occasions. But this latest experience with the Banshee has me very upset- as a consumer. Then as a stockholder. Right from the getgo Banshee disappointed me. It was not the fastest when it was released, a statment Ballard made. Then it screwed with current V2 drivers. I couldn't believe that you would need a "glide switcher" and a reboot to use the two products. And now mine doesn't run at all...

Then the little things...how can it possibly be that WE are not the official graphics of the PGL? I know it is a piddly little thing, but sometimes it is the piddly little things that make the differnce in the race...

And as far as momentum goes you have CREAF making new drivers for TNT to do cool new stuff that TDFX CAN'T DO...you have STBI putting TNT on the motherboard...Our Branding seems a moot point at Gateway where they won't even admit (on the web) that they are using TDFX products...then you have Canopus saying they won't make a V3 board, and most of the developers saying V3 is no big deal...

So...sorry if I offended anyone.

PS: Chip- I know you probably have every video card known to man :) but would you switch to V3 just for resolution increase from 1024 to 1280? I'll admit that if they make it a 32MB board it will be more compelling.
