Oh Christine, I am here with my wineglass in hand, but when I read your post and saw Hubert and terry and X I had to run and put on my flowing, diaphanous skirt which doesn't quite fit around the middle this year-well--I'll wear the blouse out--and an old bag of gummi bears, although they seem to have melted together into a rainbow puddle and aren't really as attractive but -the symbolism is there It doesn't matter how understanding you are, or how healthy, or how perfect, (for of course we are!) They are doing what they need to do. And we are providing nice strict rules for them to butt their heads against and doing what we need to do. Not silly rules, we hope, but ones that matter. Maybe you missed the posts about CW and me communicating by e-mail-him upstairs and me in the study below. Although I wrote about things as if they were funny, somedays they really weren't!! I'm lucky that CW loves publicity, but I also did respect his wishes and always cleared stories with him before posting. (Thus some of the really good stuff is missing.) Ammo and Briana are almost the same age. He'll be 16 in Jan and is a soph., so we can go through this together. I can tell you it's going to be ok, and you can hold me up because I haven't recovered from CW and am too exhausted to do it again so quickly. I didn't know marijuana stunted brain development! There has been another rash of heroin deaths in nearby Plano (another yuppie suburb, very similar to Southlake only muchhhh bigger) and it's a very terrifying thing to read how these rich babies who had it all --all except WHAT??--- turned to this... My kids speak off-handedly about the druggies in the school. it's just -there. CW has let his hair grow out-on a normal person it would be long-on him it looks like Lyle Lovett. I don't quite know what to say about it when he says, "How do I look?" I murmur appreciative, meaningless syllables. He is, despite his hair, to die for handsome.
