Jaime,

>>>>>>>>> All the big indices are near or at record highs, while the RUT and the SOX are still looking like a bear. <<<<<<<

The AIRLINES(XAL), TRANSPORTS(TRAN), BANKS(BKX), BROKERS(XBD), CYCLICALS(CYC), FOREST&PAPER PRODUCTS(FPP) have only rebounded about 1/2 of their losses or less, and looks like a bear in those indexes similar to the RUT and SOX.

That is not a few indexes. I wonder what the actual number of stocks which have only rebounded about 50% or less from the OCT lows. If I had to guess it would probably be more than 50% of all issues.

This doesnt mean the major indexes cant go higher, just that they are moving up on weak legs until the rest can catch up.
