The speed of download will be significantly slower with WAVO, I believe due to the process of compression used. The answer for faster downloads (highly desireable for cases where one is moving 20 - 50 M Bytes) is fiber or cable instead of copper, unless you look at ADSL (very expensive at this time.) I logged onto Power Quest yesterday to get an upgrade to PartitionMagic 4.0 and it would take over 2 hours to obtain a download! Not my cup of tea, mind you I have to have access to my computer for work and tying up the network with this kind of download may slow down the system (yes there are limitations to some networks!) So I don't believe WAVO has any advantages here. There is a huge difference between push technology and a download of programs.
