I'm a long time lurker, and seldom post. Though i much prefer El's posts to Jimbo's, he's right on this one. A fully independent over valued Alta Vista would add next to nothing to the value of a giant like Compaq. Then again, momentum being as un-fundamental as it is, who knows? I've owned Sun and Compaq as my main holdings for over a year now, got in on both in the low 30's. Sun is finally paying off, i think it's about time for Compaq, might take one more earnings report... Steve
