Hi Stephen,

I hadn't heard of Nancy's kefir before. Lifeway's kefir has a shelf life of 70 days. You might want to mention Lifeway's to the store and tell them about the long shelf life.

If LWAY's kefir wasn't distributed to the Northwest before, I think it will be now or very soon. From their press release dated Sept. 29th.

We gained several new distributors for our original product, kefir, which makes it the first kefir to be available nationwide.

If it is sold in the Northwest, you should be able to order it thru your local health food store.

Mark

Stephen, I just read this at Lifeway's website:

Lifeway products are now available across 80% of the US through health food distributors.

That was written about 5 months ago in June of this year, so the new distributors they picked up from the National Expo in October apparently filled the 20% gap to give them nationwide distribution now.
