Sam, if you will look you would see that was not my writing but a man named Edward Fudge. I never went to college, and I have never met him, but I do like a lot of what he says, as he is not an exclusionist(that a word?) as many CoC are. His point is that any pointing we do needs to be to Jesus. Pretty clear and good point IMO. ps. I have 3 granchildren by marriage who graduated at ACU. The 4th is a freshman there this year. Their father is a C.of C. minister. you say that like it is a bad thing.(yeah, like don't you hate that when that happens?) I bet there are a lot of prayers said on your behalf. Doesn't it make you proud to know not only your son-in-law is praying for you , but also your grandchildren?? Wow, what a neat deal.
