first - I misspoke - I did not mean to say that the big boys are net short - we dont have the data for the end of last week.

what I intended was to point out that the big boys have made an unusually large move to the short side - since the the Oct 8 low, the big boys have gone from 32,000 contracts net long to 2,000 contracts net long, ie, a negative change of 32,000 contracts

in interpreting COT data it is the net change of direction which is important, at least IMO
