Iris,
this is old stuff for me. In fact the problem is in a timing loop of Windows 95 OSR 2 and above. It'S not AMD's fault. Win98 & WinNT don't have this kind of a problem. There's a patch available. This had been posted to Anand/CPUBrohood/CPURevie/AmdZone etc. weeks ago. Anyway, thanks for Your hint. I sold anyway - because of signs of weakness, not because of this 'glitch'. However I intend to get an AMD K6-2/350 myself because I have a Super7 mainboard, currently housing a K6-200.

best regards
CROSSY

Iris & all,
found out another company I've been wastching is ready for take-off: SGDE - Sportsman Guide. They are planning on increased mail-order and internet sales. Solidly profitable, PSR of 0.12. Stock trades at $4.5 right now. Low $2.25, High $11 (this spring)...

best regards
CROSSY

BTW: out of AMD yet ? I hope so - got out at the last moment myself, $26.5
