From MacOS Rumors: Consumer Portable update Confirmation would seem to be in on what could be the biggest news of the Consumer Portable ("P1") era -- wireless Internet. We're not just talking simple Infrared here....we're talking Cellular-like capabilities in the built-in/bundled communications. macosrumors.com I spoke with a guy at the MacWorld SF Apple exhibit last year, who said he was in charge of designing new features for the portables. He asked me what I'd like to see most and I responded, "Cheap, built-in, wireless internet access." He asked me how much more I would pay for it and I told him "$300", but I warned him that I was a cheap bastard. He said they were strongly considering that feature, I hope this is true.
