IBM has almost always carried an "insane price" through the years it has made millionaires of the many who held it over long periods of time, through countless splits and ever increasing "insane prices"!!!

Huh?? You obviously weren't a shareholder in IBM during most of the 1980's and early 1990's. Before Gerstner turned it around, IBM was a stinker for many, many years.

What? If you will reread my post, you will see that I sold half at 144 and still own the other half. I bought all these shares at 45. Those shares I sold yesterday more than tripled my money within a month. Those shares I still own are worth almost 5 times what I paid for them less than a month ago.

You bought yours at 147. Congratulations. But guess who's still way ahead percentagewise? Sheesh....
