>>bh6 bios-2940 problems?

Arghh, my day for displaying failing memory (mine). I think
I first saw it on Anand's page, and then saw further
references. I could only find one, not much help.
Don't know the current status.

See FAQ 23 at the following:

bxboards.pair.com

Not much of a help there, but at least I didn't
dream it (of course, THEY may have dreamed it).
Seems to me I did unearth something a couple of
months ago to the effect that yes it was still
a problem (then). I also seem to recall some
discussion on this thread a while back.

BTW, the FAQ numbers may change at the above loc
from time to time.

Simplest would be ABIT tech support, but since I
don't own the board I'm not into that at the moment.
Also maybe some of the vendors (Mushkin, eg) might
have info. When I get down to it, I will certainly
ask. If the Dow keeps going up, I might be able to
afford one <ggg>.

Dave, Tom seems to have some problems with memory chips on ABit BH6.
Have you or others encountered this? Wonder if there is an Update Board?
