TLC,

I am a trader not an investor. I like DELL because it makes me rich. However, I have absolutely no interest in falling in love with this company. I will buy YHOO! at 190 for a quick 5 point gain, but also short the issue at 170 if it lost upside momentum.

DELL is overvalued at current price, but is less overvalued compared with lots of other high flyers. And a market rally without MSFT & DELL is definitely missing sth. Right now the market and the momentum will send both these issues over previous high in the short run, and that should put a temporary top on the market. DOW will top out at around 9500, Nasdaq probably 2100. After that, who knows. This rally is even worse than the one we saw back in July. And there is a certain limit the insurance Fed has put on the bottom of the market.

I was both short and long DELL until last Tuesday and made a nice profit on the way down. Shifted mostly to long positions after the market showed such passion for an expected rate cut. BTW, MSFT new high this week. Next stop 125.

good luck,
larry!
