Betty,

I guarantee you that they got stock, warrants, or some type of equity position in that co.. It may have been through a resale of stock from one of their early venture capital placements.

It is also very good business at these times to invest in other co's., which can oppose Microsoft's industry control of the PC OS.

The word investing should not be considered a loan or gift.

B.

"The Company is emerging from a difficult restructuring, and its future plans require the passage of Proposal No. 3 to increase the number of authorized shares of common stock from 120 million to 200 million shares. At the current time, the fully diluted number of shares issued is 116.1 million. With only 120 million shares authorized, the Company has few options for financing operations, future research and development, strategic acquisitions, or to attract qualified employees."

When you voted yes to the increase in authorized shares, did you expect Intel, Lucent, or Lanier to invests in EDIG?

Why haven't they invested in EDIG?
