<<Then why has only Compaq announced a 400 MHz K6-2 PC?

And why can't distributors get 400 MHz K6-2s?>>

Remember your Kumar's friend comment on the yield of K6-2-400MHz?

Paul, re "And why can't distributors get 400 MHz K6-2s?"

I didn't say yields were spectacular at 400 MHz. I just posted that the 300 MHz was phased out and that 333 MHz will be soon. Don't forget that in addition to 350 Mhz, AMD is also making 366 and 380. Finally, it takes a while to package up chips and get them into the channel, so there you go.
