I see that. I have a nice position in MSFT bought last week after the Sun court decision. Very very happy with it. Looks like the market has granted a summary judgment motion in favor of MSFT.

Sonki this is an excellent point that there are investment arguments vs theoretical arguments going on here on the various msft threads. As an industry person this has been one of the most difficult challenges for me - of course I always want to blast my competitors as incompetent etc. However in this case just removing myself from my emotions for a moment, from a business fundamentals standpoint, msft has outfoxed the database vendors, specifically Oracle, and will kill Oracle in the marketplace predatory business practices or not. Msft will win in the enterprise shortly if they havent already and the stock doesnt really reflect that win due to uncertainty regarding the DOJ action.

Of the people here for example rudedog seems to be able to weigh both sides but Toy Soldier seems unable to remove himself from personal bias.

JMO,
Michelle

>many people on this thread have made up their mind one way or the other and not intrested in making mony, just making arguments.

I am here to make money and enjoy doing so. It is unfortunate that this thread has become almost completely monopolized by an unelected spokesman for the anti-msft side of an emotional argument who doesn't even invest.
