What about the other big 4? Should IBM and HP (I understand that IBM has this NSM deal going for them as well and has access to CYRIX CPUs) be affected the same way as CPQ and GTW and MUEI the same way as DELL? IOW, not affected much or not at all?

Do you have a link for the interview? I guess I should start reading the INTC thread regularly again. Seems like the white box makers are the losers either way CPU prices and demand go. More proof that it is not CPQ vs. DELL but rather white box makers against big 6. At least till the market consolidates over the next 4-5 years. I sure wish journalists would do some stories on that front and not make it always sound like it is DELL vs. the rest of the world.
