Thanks for the perspective on DELL's performance. Yet, its total return in the last 2 years is about what AMZN or YHOO have delivered to investors in the last 12 months. I would claim that DELL is not surrounded by as much hype. I like all of the companies that I have mentioned. Yet, DELL has some SERIOUS fundamentals and profits backing up its valuation. IMO, going forward DELL's prospects look better than ever. As some analysts say..."the devil is in the details." I would bet on DELL's ability to execute and justify a much higher valuation going forward. There still are some uncertainties about "the realistic valuations" for a number of the internet stocks. The strongest brands, franchises, and business models should thrive in the next century. IMO DELL will lead the pack. They will continue to be an e-commerce pioneer and deliver increasing profits and margins. DELL may actually continue to have "a reasonable P/E." It will be interesting to see how DELL performs (compared to some of the established internet stocks) as we move into a new century.

I continue to believe that DELL will prove that it is the next DELL

Regards,

Scott
