Just got off the phone with LAB.

The weather is holding out. The drill is still on MGJ completing a 600 meter hole. They expect to be drilling the LAB bulls eye target by Wed or Thurs if things go as scheduled. There will be an NR to announce the start of drilling. They expect to drill 2 or 3 holes (2 any ways) 200 - 300 meters deep. The bulls eye target makes for a very apparent drill target. They have been advised that the PEM on this target is 4 X stronger than anything Teck/Donner has seen in SVB. The bulls eye identifies an anomaly within an anomaly which apparently is what the VB ovoid is. In 96 the closest hole they drilled was approx 600 to 800 meters away from the bulls eye and this hole was 150 meters deep.

Paul believes that insiders own approx 1/3 of LAB shares and as far as he knows they are all holding. They are very excited about the prospects for this target. They apparently had 3 targets for potential drilling but the bulls eye was a no brainer as first choice by everyone involved including Donner/Teck. Paul said the LAB consulting Geo types are very conservative and they are very excited about the data.
Falconbridge had shown interest earlier in the year and wanted to know if LAB would be drilling. The answer at that time was no. When LAB put out the NR about the bulls eye Falco called right away and have been provided with all the data.

Although DML/Teck have not come up with the big hit yet they continue to believe that the source exists for what they have found so far.

LAB drilling - They can continue drilling through the winter if they make the big hit but it is expensive. Also when they start drilling they expect to take about 2 -3 days per hole. LAB's bulls eye anomaly is apparently larger than the VB ovoid anomaly. Exploration drilling started on the ovoid during this time of the year and they drilled through the winter.

LAB is getting lots of calls from new investors.

It all sounds good to me and Paul did not sound like he was hyping the stock (but he is obviously excited).
