I will repeat once more for others reading this post. I do not hate any people, I do not hate Catholics, those are your fabricated words and I do not believe I have implied that. I do hate what I believe to be false doctrines that will lead people away from the simplicity of Christ. I have Catholic friends, I know of Christians in the Catholic institution so don't attempt to brand me with with that garbage. If I give that impression I would apologize because that is not my intent by any means. I did not judge those people as unsaved that came to Christ and stayed with Catholicism because their priest threatened them. I believe from the word of God that they are saved because they turned to Christ for salvation and remain so. What do I have to do with that????? Jesus saves people not other Christians. So quit playing with words and making up things that I have not said. I don't believe as you said I imply that people become "unsaved". Within all denominations Protestant or Catholic there are unsaved people. Anyone that has not turned to Christ for salvation is in that category. God judges the heart, lip service doesn't count. You know the verse, "Not everyone that says unto me Lord, Lord...." Diversity of minor doctrines? Let Catholicism speak for itself.... Canon 1. If anyone denies that in the sacrament of the most Holy Eucharist are contained truly, really and substantially the body and blood together with the soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, and consequently the whole Christ, but says that He is in it only as in a sign, or figure or force, let him be anathema. Council of Trent, Session 13 Chapter VIII Or how about the Popes and their "diversity of minor doctrines?.." Dogmatic Canons and Decrees, pg 256 Tan Books, Rockford, Il. Pope Innocent III: "He (the pope) judges all and is judged by no one." Pope Boniface VIII: "We declare, assert, define and pronounce: To be subject to the Roman pontiff is to every human creature altogether necessary for salvation." Pope Leo XIII: "We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty." Very minor doctrinal diversity? HA! Or how about the Council of Trent, Session VI, stating anyone who says they have assurance of salvation is anathema. (damned as a heretic) My pathetic views of the Catholic Church? Who is separating Christian brethren? Wake up! I practice exclusive doctrine? Yes, and so do you because I agree with your last statement completely. "Outside of Christ there is not salvation. In Christ, man is safe and saved." John
