Chip, I enjoy your contributions, but I think your latest post may have been irresponsible. Because of its brevity, it comes across as throwing a bomb. Such a controversial statement should have been expanded to say, perhaps, that it was a rumor from someone you trust, or do not trust, or it is rumor you picked up somewhere and the authority for it is questionable, etc.,etc. If you really have no idea of whether it is true or not, then don't post it. None of us are journalists on this thread, but most of us have a stake in this company. Unfounded rumors, whether positive or negative, should not be posted. A good journalist would not have posted this, and an editor would be fired for letting it pass. I would appreciate your follow up on this as soon as possible before any panic sets in. Dan Dwyer
