As for Sharpy...I think it will scale with the K6-2 so 400 is tops for now... The other thing I heard at the fronton was that the K7 was actually running faster than 500MHz....but can't verify it... I hear that the backside L2 will only run at 1/3 the processor speed on the earliest K7s. But the 200 Mhz spec is also true. Do the math: K7 will be introduced at 600 MHz. I think the reason that AMD isn't doing half speed backside L2 is that they anticipate a lack of availability of cost effective SRAMs capable of 300 MHz operation. Have a nice day, Kevin
