"Is CSHK offering a Christmas special this year - a CD of
DiscoverY2K in every bag of litter?"

Nope, that is six so far. One found 20 MS works files non-compliant. From what I can see so far from those reporting, the problem is widespread among different programs. This is probably old news to those in the Y2K business, but is revealing to me. It tells me that come January 2000, I want to own some non-compliant software stock. Unless people are made aware of the problems lurking in their PC's before then, there will be a mass buying spree of upgrades in January. That is when cold reality sets in. My bet is that Joe public will not have a clue before next November - maybe. If that's the case, there is more than enough time for Cashco to gear up. Maybe the herd will wake up before then, but it is doubtful. Lewinsky did not wake them up. What will? With this TODAY generation, it takes a mass panic or a huge fad to get them going.
