Donald; Your right, but keep in mind the Ny Specialist and the Naz Market Makers like to work out of a short position, and when the tick goes negative while the index goes up, it's a sign they are taking up short positions, they see the flow before anyone else. ----------------- As far as how much I have no idea, short term currency markets will have more to do with that than any of the gurus talk about, and the currency markets have been nuts lately. It may just be a small dip, the S/MMs don't mind scalping a few points, but then it could trigger a broader sell off, we sure have made up a lot of ground fast. I didn't go short but cashed in my long positions late today just before the close. Jim
