Well, those wishing to do a little value investing can run with the sane, sober S&P 500, which closed today with a P/E of over thirty.

As to the internuts, this saying is so often mangled that it helps sometimes to write it out in its original form:

Been watching CREE? I looked to buy some Friday at 25 15/16, but hesitated thinking more consolidation was due. Now it's 39 today....
