HAL is just trying to get a rise out of ya so you do his homework for him. Kinda like when I tell my wife I don't know how to do the laundry, and when she makes me learn, I screw it up. Yet, then we have to go shopping so I'm not sure who wins that one. Tim

Well pooches, don't know if any patent will prevail or not, however, for the last month on this thread patents have been a question as to...(1) if they existed and could be applied to G.Lite, and (2) if those patents could provide for a revenue stream to Aware. It seems clear now that Aware believes so.

The ADI AD20msp910 & AD20msp918 chipset customers are an impressive lot.

ADC
Advanced Fibre Communications
Ascend
Cisco
Diamond Lane
Efficient Networks
Ericsson
Newbridge Networks
Philips
Pulsecom
Samsung
Sumitomo

Not to mention Aware technology licensee such as...

Lucent Technologies
Siemens Semiconductor Group
US Robotics/3Com

And we know who ECI sells to.

The roll out of DSL has started...and in no small way,
Aware's stock price and volume both have increased substantially. It's hard to ignore those facts, and it's even harder to claim Aware doesn't have the support and the backing of the industry and their respective customers. I put forth in support of this all the participants and members of the ITU and UAWG...none as far as I can tell or find have filed a claim against Aware for infringement of patent etc., Now tell me why I should sell. Anyone?

Don't get me wrong, I place this on thread to debate pro & con. It's just those who have no factual base or a well formulated opinion should spend their time in study, rather than rag on those who have...and contributed it for others. Those who don't rag and are new to this are welcome and encouraged to that part.

David this is not targeted at you...your posting are some of the best on SI...keep it up.

David
I have never owned AWARE !
I am still looking for a reason to own AWARE.

Another way of saying it is ....no loss on AWARE !

Maybe AWARE will hit 40 or 100 ?
But what about RISK ?
What about EXPECTED VALUE ?

Did you buy at $4 ??
