No, Jerry deserves the boot for the extravagancies that he continued to enjoy while AMD was going through a tough period of manufacturing problems and a weak semiconductor market.

Of course, that's all a moot point now that the market has taken a turn for the better. Much like Bill Clinton, Jerry Sanders is now going to ride the wave of a stronger economy and take much of the credit for himself.
