>>I rather see Yorky selling at $8.00 than right now. That way people will be rushing to buy BII at 4.00 to 5.00
You understand what I'm trying to say Bro?<<

I think I understand. ;>) It seems to me that time is important. BII could use another 10 or 15 million to make some kind of(their words) acquisition.Do you think the market would be receptive to that? Have you ever seen the market more receptive in your life? LOL

Talk about a good time to release news about a licensing agreement with a major cable company.

Yorkton is short 3000708 shares at an average price of 2.52 in the last 7 trading days. That comes out to about 7.7 million. If they sold 3 million at 8.00, it may be too late for BII to do what they have planned.

Hang on...I just came across something.

I understand that Cablevision is the only big cable company in New York. They sure are throwing money around the big apple!

>>Charles F. Dolan is the founder and Chairman of Cablevision Systems Corporation.

Over the past twenty-three years, Cablevision has grown to become the nation's sixth largest cable television operator, as well as a multi-faceted business providing a host of specialized television programming and telecommunications services. Today, Cablevision serves more then 2.8 million cable television customers in 19 states, with principal operational clusters located in the New York, Boston, and Cleveland metropolitan areas. Its programming vehicles include 18 national and regional cable networks -- among them American Movie Classics (AMC), Bravo, the SportsChannel Regional Network and NEWS 12.

>>NEW YORK, Oct 11 <Picture: (Reuters)> - The New York Yankees' principal owner George Steinbrenner has been contacting his partners about possibly selling the baseball team to Cablevision, the cable television operator, Newsday reported Sunday.

Steinbrenner, who bought the team with his partners for about $10 million in 1973, was seeking as much as $750 million to $800 million for the Yankees, Newsday said, citing an unidentified Steinbrenner partner.

That would far exceed the record sale price for a baseball team of $311 million paid by Rupert Murdoch for the Los AngelesDodgers. <<

Cablevision Buys
Loews Theaters for $91.7M

By ERICA GARCIA
Special to The News

<Picture>ablevision picked up one of the hottest tickets in the movie business yesterday.

Capping a three-month courtship, the entertainment giant acquired a 31-theater package for $91.7 million.

Government regulators had insisted the theaters be sold as part of an anti-trust settlement in the merger of Loews, a division of Sony, with Cineplex Odeon.

The deal comes just two weeks after Cablevision's first moviehouse acquisition — of Clearview Cinema Group's 45 New York-area theaters for $160 million.
