I just got off the phone with MBT to find out if they support ADSL modem communications. The first guy didn't know and yelled to someone in the office "Hay! do we support ADSL", a moment latter he came back on the phone and confirmed that they did. Anyone here have ADSL set up and trades with MBT. ?

JPR destroys MBT Trading and the Executioner for a simple reason, they are a broker dealer where MBT Trading and the Executioner are not? The same is true for Cyberbroker, except their rates are higher than JPR. The fact that they are broker dealers gives much more credibility right off the bat to their operations, and explains why they can charge the significantly lower rates that they do. Terra Nova branch offices like MBT Trading and the Executioner are being screwed with by Putnam just like I was. He is pocketing revenues that should be returned to the branch offices, like the fee for adding liquidity when using Island. It will be interesting to see how long it is until some of the Terra Nova offices break aways from Putnam and become their own broker dealers. Then they will never have to be henpicked by him. More significantly though, how would you feel being the high bid on a limit to buy a couple thousand shares, and Terra Nova steps in front of your order and takes it down for their own proprietary account. Then the market pops a couple points before you get out. I do not think you will be too happy. Thanks for all the private posts, the following is a paragraph of one of them I received today.

I'm going to give them a try.

Alot of MBT have moved over and consider everything
there superiour to MBT.

This has made MBT very mad! JPR has cost them lots in lost customers.

Spread the word on their thread and they will go irate!
