John,

It is good to see that muscle on Yahoo likes at least one person (you). His posts are informative and I think he is right on with his forecast but wish he would lighten up on the name calling.

With the Infinity IPO, CBS will be able to get rid of a bid chunk of it's debt. I have been in Viacom for as long as I have been in CBS and it has been amazing how well VIA has done this year as they have slashed their debt.

IMO, companies with little debt and large cash flow will be well rewarded over the next 12 months with higher multiples. I will be adding to my CBS position and start buying some long term calls again. A successful Infinity IPO could get CBS over 40 within a short period of time.

We just need to be patient over the next couple of weeks. It would be an added plus if the overall market stays strong or at least moves sideways.

Ken

John,

When is the IPO? People seem to be counting their chickens before they hatch.

"Timing is everything." While I am not a market timer, the all time stratospheric heights on the Dow, possible Iraq bombing on the horizon, and general market euphoria, make me pose the question:
if the market tanks, what happens to the IPO?

CBS and IFN need the dough. Forget the road show. This IPO is offered across the broker spectrum, big time. The info is out. Mel's great. The value will be unlocked. Etc., etc. Let's go, is what I'm thinking.

Have you seen hard data on the date of the offering? For many old timers, this company is always tomorrow , but never today: locked up value that doesn't translate into fair value at the share price.

My feeling is: DO IT.

Thanks for any info you can provide.
Lawrence

Morning John and all,
Hey...Seems I'm now a celeb on the yahoo board. Mr. Muscle. Unfortunately, he sees one post and makes a call on it. Oh well...
I will say, Muscle is a strong Mel believer. From Mel's track record, so am I. Only about a month to go before Jordan is out of the way. Let's hope muscle continues to be right about Mel.

Anyway, today is another day closer to the IPO.

Regards,
Dan
