That's correct. KIDE is Nintendo's exclusive licensing agent (everywhere but Japan) for products that use Nintendo game characters. KIDE's royalties are based on the revenues from such product sales. In Japan, sales of Pokemon spin-off merchandise were $4 billion in 18 months -- this amount was greater than the revenues from the actual Game Boy. KIDE also does the licensing for WCW and other products.
