That was a trap and it's right that she refused to answer the question. While it is perfectly reasonable to ask if one's own testimony is truthful or not, it is ENTIRELY unreasonable to ask the same about SOMEBODY ELSE'S testimony. The truth is, NOBODY can be 100% sure about anybody else's testimony -- even one's own spouse's, much less that of a business associate.

Nor do I believe her answer yes or no was as simple as you put it. I see no reason for her to stay in jail under the terms you cited.
