In defense of Favors: I, too, started to pay attention to him at the wrong time. Spent $400 in one month in phone bills to the hot line after feeling that he made a lot of sense week after week on NBC. Sadly, I can't say I made any $$ from those calls.
However, I feel he has command of a powerful arsenal of long-term indicators and I like the fact that his interpretation of them seems pretty pure, less what HE thinks and more what the indicators are SAYING. Historical statistics can not (and Favors apparently does not) factor in rate cuts, Monica Lewinskis or Saddam Husseins, or the insanity of an ebay. And somehow I still believe that Favors' information will be helpful to us in the long run.
