Joe,

I've been getting a little swifter and bolder on these gap
ups. I look forward to them. I think if one keeps practicing
them there's a pattern to it all.

I usually don't have time in the mornings to play the gaps properly and I hate having to do it based strictly on price without seeing the charts or actions.

The only thing buming me is I wished I had
stayed in longer, because it looks like we were right about
staying in the stock as long as possible in case good news
came out unexpectedly.

Well Joe I lost out on some profit too.. but I don't feel too badly about it.. there is no point regretting what could have been.

>>Yes, but it's not sustainable at this rate..<<

Of course, not, but what else is new. This happens at least
3 times a year. Just part of the job. You're use to it. Otherwise
you'd be holding CDs:-)

Sure it happens all the time, it's just a matter of timing things rate so as to maximize profits. SOmetimes I wish I was just a one of these old fashioned buy and hold guys, it would be so much easier on the psychy.

I think the systems side of the company,
(corebuilder, switchrouters, layer 3 switching, etc.) is
moving much faster than expected. This is going to mean
significant estimate revisions for '99.

Yes I'm not worried long term, I'm just trying to squeeze every once of profit out of this stock.. (and doing a miserable job at it lately).. I would have been better off just to hold everything I bought the other day, but I put soo much of my portfolio into COMS I wasn't comfortable leaving it all there.

Steve

Joe and Steve,
The ST direction of this stock is UP. Hang in there we are going up. Momentum is just driving right now, these are irresistable forces working for 3 months (arguably longer). We should be glowing about the fact that COM$ finally gets to participate in the market.

Joe, you've waited for this for over a year why not just sit tight. Even if we go down some $5, we are coming back up. Why bother taking the risk on losing the upside for some trading. You'll have to be super accurate to make more $$ trading this way rather than holding.

Tomorrow will likely continue this (but not too dramatic) and wed should be a light trading day for a possible resting place.

Next week should see all these bullish factors at work in the market.
Tim
