µ - assuming you're on a PC (rather than a Mac), make sure NumLock is active (i.e., make sure the numeric keypad types numbers when you use it, rather than moving the cursor), then hold down the ALT key, hit the 2, 3, and 0 keys on the numeric keypad, and release the ALT key.

Good call on APM! I presently own MASK and PLAB, but have been interested in DPMI. I am a bit worried about DPMI in that they seem to have taken a bigger hit in this downturn than PLAB or MASK (who, as far as I can tell, does not even realize there has been a downturn). Does DPMI have a bigger Asian exposure than PLAB (since MASK has approx. 0 Asian exposure, this is not an issue for them? Also, is DPMI particularly exposed to Asian memory makers, who have temporarily closed a bunch of production lines? In terms of typing µ, I simply type "option m". I do not know if it matters, but I use a Mac with Netscape Communicator 4.5 set to use Page Specified Fonts.
