For the record:

My dealings with Mainwood are from "previous lives". In his defense these dealings were not so much "crooked" as they were "tough luck, that's the way I want it so that's the way it will be". He (Mainwood) was not professional then, and his actions to date with Mainchan leads me to believe he still doesn't get the picture. NOTHING I HAVE SEEN OR HEARD MAKES ME BELIEVE, AT THIS TIME, THAT THE PEOPLE RUNNING THIS COMPANY ARE NOT HONEST.

I agree that Dave Gregory has alot more on the line than Mainwood. I don't know him but his reputation must be important. But Gregory has a full time job (Pres and CEO of First Calgary) and probably doesn't have time to do what Mainwood can't do, or what Mainwood won't do. Is this a case where the working partner thinks "if it isn't my way than I won't do it." This is the attitude I saw before. As I said in an earlier post, Do it or get someone in there who can do it. You can't tell me it takes more than 3 months to get the paperwork completed. Billion dollar deals get done without halting the companys stock for more than a few hours. This "paperwork" arguement doesn't work anymore! So tell us Mr. Mainwood, what is the real reason. Even companys who are halted can issue press releases with the ASEs permission. TELL US or DO GET IT GOING or GET SOMEONE IN THERE WHO CAN GET IT DONE!!! It's just that simple.

From talking with a listing officer at the ASE who is very familiar with this file I got the IMPRESSION that we were no where near having all the paperwork done and ready to go. Who's fault would this be? Mainwood wanted the title of President and so he has to step up and take the responsibility. Stop changing phone numbers, stop spending your time having lunch, and do what's necessary to get this thing going!!!! You have people that have put real money into this that just want some sort of resolution. And, if you can't do it, either you have to admit that, or the other people within the company have to take the steps to get someone in there who can or who will do it.
