Zead,

I think you mean 12.5 mm, not 12.5" <grin>, a downsizing
from the already-available 15 mm laptop Zip drive. I agree
with you that it would be very desirable indeed to see that
smaller format on the market.

The 12.5" Zip came out about 1984, but it never caught on....
