<Dwight I have no idea why you feel the need to use my name here. But I want to point out that I for one am truly tired of you self righteous types implying that us more liberal types are somehow anti-business or anti-microsoft in any way.<

Michelle, probably because when I saw you and Daniel here on this thread, with Daniel calling someone "dim", with respect to the prospects of the AOL/NSCP buyout affecting the DOJ lawsuit, I guessed/presumed that neither Daniel nor you were fond of MSFT in their current corporate form, i.e. one entity.

re >I will challenge you to find anybody on SI or anywhere that fits that stereotype you mention<

In fact, you and Dan both fit that "stereotype". Unless you are here arguing with Daniel??? I also know people personally from Calif. who fit that "stereotype". I would wager there are many thousands of people in Calif who are liberal and hate Microsoft, and are very much on the "side" of Netscape/Oracle/Sun.

I believe you yourself have mentioned some kind of admiration for Ellison. That doesn't mean you hate Microsoft per se, but then what are you and Daniel doing on this thread then, with Daniel calling people "dim"???

re >In fact I said this just today, and fwiw I have never met anyone from your "side" (if you want to call it a side) here that was able to engage me in conversation about software engineering management, due to lack of knowledge primarily.<

Well, Michelle, I have a BS degree in Computer Information Systems. It is a programming/systems analyst degree geared towards business applications. However, I am by profession for the last 10 years an accountant. Perhaps you would like to talk about accounting?? (what was the point of your comment again?)
