"So the DM filled the gap and is ready to move north again?...the dollar is at major resistance...is 97 a breakout to the upside on a closing basis by your crystal ball?"

Post three charts, wait a little while, and someone figures out exactly what you are thinking. Good work Papaya King, you are correct. There is a 90% correlation between US dollar index increase, and gold price demise. And as of today it's over valued... the trend will accelerate starting tuesday. By which time LTCM will have purchased back all there short position in XAU stocks.

PS: The stock markets are NOT in a inflationary bubble yet, they are in a growth bubble NOW. And in three months may enter into a inflationary bubble. Unless...Gold must die, Oil must die, US Dollar must rise.
