It is difficult to say for sure whether this is a bear market rally in Russia or a start of a bull market. We have crossed 50 DMA, but are
well below 200 DMA. What is going on on Wall Street, especially with
the internets, is the wildest speculation. Look how much Yahoo,
AOL, NSCP, AMZN and others are up today. There is no such thing as
fundamentals. In Russia, at least, stocks are cheap, although
some wonder whether or not they are worthless. I don't even
want to think what happens to the world if Wall Street really
crashes, but I think this will happen some time pretty soon. AOL is
what, 3X the Russian Stock Market?
