The greatest thing about HD is when the money stops flowing into the nets and folks look for a REAL GROWTH STOCK we all know where they'll park cash.

I only wish I had the nerve to buy more on 10/8 when the world came to an end. I must have been drunk!

I was wrong in that Eagle does have stores in CA and other states than OR and WA. But that seemed to be part of their problem, lack of critical mass in most markets. A store here and a store there makes for more expensive distribution costs.

HD once boasted that in major metro areas they could put a store every 15 miles, or thereabouts, and not hurt adjacent stores' volume and profits. Can't vouch for the veracity of that statement, but if true HD has a lot of room to grow in the US market. Also HD is not adverse to closing up an older, smaller store and opening a new one in that neighborhood.
