Estimate of RAM royalties based on feedback from UncleWest and MileHigh:

1999: $15b x 10% x 1.20% = $18m
2000: $17b x 20% x 1.00% = $34m
2001: $20b x 40% x 0.80% = $64m

Year: A x B x C = royalties
A. Amount charged by chip manufacturers for
worldwide RAM production.
B. Percentage of RAM production manufactured
under Rambus licenses.
C. Average percentage royalty on RAM?

Additional data:
Total Rambus shares issued as of 30-Sep-98: 25m.
